So, I thought I would address some of the most frequently asked questions

 

WHAT TYPE OF MUSIC DO YOU PLAY?

We consider ourselves to be an Open Format business, in other words we will happily work to most formats, from 50’s right through to the current top 40, including pre-release music. We will never take a job that we don’t feel we would be able to fulfil to the best of our abilities, so if you are looking for a night of nothing but Reggae, or a classic Northern Soul night, we might not be the best people for you, but we can happily play to a crowd and fill your dancefloor.

WHY DO YOU ASK FOR A 25% DEPOSIT?

We have many enquiries every week for dates up to 2 years in advance, we don’t want your date to be lost so we ask for a deposit to secure that date and guarantee the booking with confirmation details. All our bookings are covered by our Terms & Conditions and are fully contracted for both sides protection.

WHEN IS THE BALANCE PAYMENT DUE?

The balance payment is always due no later than 14 days before the date of your event. To prevent the embarrassment of having the DJ trying to find you for payment at the end of the night, we do not accept payment on the night.

DO YOU HAVE PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE?

Yes. All our events are covered by £10m PLI provided by the Mobile DJ Network using Hencilla

DOES YOUR EQUIPMENT HAVE CURRENT ELECTRICAL SAFETY TESTS COMPLETED (AKA PAT)?

Yes. All of our equipment is covered by an annual Portable Appliance Test, certificates are available on request.

DO YOU PROVIDE LIGHTING AS WELL AS SPEAKERS?

The simple answer is Yes, we provide a full disco setup when you book us, from high quality speakers to full computer controlled lighting and all the backups required to make sure your event goes to plan.

CAN WE MEET YOU BEFORE WE BOOK?

Absolutely, we are fully aware of how big these decisions are and will happily meet up at a time and location suitable for both parties.

WHEN DO WE NEED TO PICK OUR FIRST DANCE FOR? 

With every Wedding Booking we will make arrangements to meet you approx 4 weeks before your date, this is to go over the timings of the cake cutting and first dance and any special requirements.

WHY ARE YOU OFFERING CHEAP DEALS ON PHOTOGRAPHY?

We are a very honest business and we will not try to oversell our services. As a very avid fan of photography Stu (The Boss) is confident he can offer a good service as your wedding photographer, but as with any business we all have to start somewhere and gain our first clients to prove our worth. So the prices we charge reflect this. We will happily discuss our services and the service you should expect for your money, do not feel afraid to ask.

 

HAVE YOU GOT ANY WEDDING PHOTOS TO SHOW US?

At the moment we don’t have any wedding shoots to show, but on our Photography page you can see some photos from events we have attended and some general Wildlife and Family shots that will hopefully show off our photography skills. We do have our first Weddings booked for later in the year and will be sharing those photos as soon as we can.
